Capricorns don't let themselves be defeated that easily - neither by people nor by winter. First deified, then eradicated, later resettled - it has an eventful history behind it. Today, in the Kleinwalsertal - Oberstdorf border area, above Mittelberg, there is an ibex colony with around 100 animals.
